Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)Â is the continuing commitment by business to act ethically and to contribute to nation’s economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local communities and society at large.
The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has paved a way for businesses to return back to the society from the profits it earns. Such initiatives on the part of a company to improve livelihood of people and preserving environment at surroundings of its operations also go a long way in gathering acceptance from local communities. This also ensures enhancement of triple bottom line of People-Planet-Profit, depicting the inclusive growth for an organization.
Our CSR initiatives are based on the following principles:
- Environment: One primary focus of corporate social responsibility is focused towards environment protection. Therefore, all technologies/ processes we work with are ecofriendly and do not produce any effluent or pollution of any kind. We undertake tree plantation in and around our manufacturing facilities to maintain a clean and green work place.
- Philanthropy: Tinna also practices social responsibility by donating to national and to local charities. Tinna is committed for making life better for the under privileged community and regularly organizes camps for Medical Checkup, Blood Donation and bring about awareness on issues like hygiene.
Our CSR initiatives are focused around our manufacturing locations in order to have a positive impact on local community.
